Lexington, NC — Teresa Penninger of Parrott’s individual markets team has been recognized by the Health Insurance Marketplace® for enrolling more than 100 consumers in qualified coverage during the 2022 Open Enrollment Period.
This recognition from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) as an Elite member of the 2023 Marketplace Circle of Champions underscores Teresa’s dedication, expertise, and service in helping consumers.

This year’s Open Enrollment Periods for applying for Marketplace coverage are as follows:
- Medicare Annual Election Period (AEP) runs October 15 – December 7, 2023 for January 1, 2024 start.
- ACA Open Enrollment Period (U65) runs November 1 – December 15, 2023 for a January 1, 2024 start; AND December 16 – January 15, 2023 for a February 1, 2024 start.
- Medicare Open Enrollment Period (OEP) runs January 1 – March 31, 2024; allows for a one-time change from one Med Advantage to another Med Advantage, or switch from Med Advantage to Orig Medicare.
