Employers who sponsor group health plans with prescription drug coverage are required to provide a Notice of Creditable Coverage to their employees each year. This will notify Medicare-eligible individuals whether their prescription drug coverage is expected to pay, on average, as much as the standard Medicare prescription drug coverage (creditable coverage).
If your employees have received a “Benefits Guide” from Parrott Benefit Group, then you do not need to distribute this notice, as it is provided in the booklet.
